Jeanne Randazzo Szczech, Mortgage Broker/President, founded Arete Mortgage and Arete Real Estate Services in Jan 2002 after having spent several years as a Loan Officer and Loan Processor in Southern California.

She earned her B.A. in English from the State University of NY at Geneseo in 1990 and continued her studies at Lehigh University in PA where she was awarded a Master's Degree in Education in 1992.

The education of her clients in the loan process is of utmost importance to Jeanne. Knowledge and understanding of the process is critical to an overall sense of client satisfaction.

Jeanne is a member of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers and the Colorado Association of Mortgage Brokers. Arete Mortgage is also a proud member of the Durango Area Chamber of Commerce .

In the state of California, Jeanne is licensed through the CA Department of Real Estate as a Real Estate Broker (DRE # 01312210). In New Mexico, she is licensed through the Regulation and Licensing Department (#02840).

Besides real estate, Jeanne spends her time with her husband, two young daughters, and her dog, Morgan. When she's not working on your loan, she can be found running, hiking or playing hide and seek with her kids.
