Jeanne founded Arete Mortgage in 2001 after several years as a Loan Officer and Loan Processor in Southern California. She earned her B.A. in English from the State University of New York at Geneseo in 1990, and a Master’s Degree in Education from Lehigh University in 1992.
The education of her clients in the loan process is of utmost importance to Jeanne. She believes knowledge and understanding of the process are critical to overall client satisfaction.
Arete Mortgage is a proud member of the Durango Area Chamber of Commerce, the Better Business Bureau of the Southwest, Durango Growth Organization, and Local First La Plata. They are also sponsors and supporters of KSUT public radio and other local non-profit organizations.
Outside of real estate, Jeanne enjoys spending time with her husband Chris, their two daughters, and their two dogs. When she’s not helping clients, she can be found running, hiking, practicing yoga, or adventuring with her family.
